Supervisor Eric Mar is hosting a fundraising reception in honor of the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA). The reception will include drinks and hors d’oeuvres from the Poleng Lounge on Friday, June 12th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. As a long time member of the organization, he invites you to learn more about the importance of CPA’s work in educating, organizing and empowering the immigrant Chinese community and building broader movements for social and economic justice. In times of economic downturn, it is critical that we protect the community organizations that are committed to organizing those most impacted by the crisis. Eric Mar invites you to join him on June 12th to get acquainted with CPA and donate to this cause. The suggested limited donation is $20.
