Tak Toyoshima, creator of “Secret Asian Man” (http://secretasianman.com), the first nationally syndicated comic strip featuring an Asian American lead character, will be at Dave Lu’s Drink for a Cause on Friday, March 20, at Poleng Lounge, 1751 Fulton, San Francisco.
Tak’s appearance is courtesy of the award-winning newspaper Nichi Bei Times (http://nichibeitimes.com) and “The Many Faces Of Manga,” an exhibit running through June 30 at the National Japanese American Historical Society (http://njahs.org).
