Wu Yee’s Butterfly Social on Nov. 7

Join Wu Yee Children’s Services in celebrating 31 years of service to San Francisco’s low-income children and families at the agency’s annual event, the Butterfly Social.  This year, the event will be held at Ana Mandara restaurant in Ghirardelli Square on Friday, November 7, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Consistent with the night market theme, the evening will feature Asian cuisine by world-renowned Chef Khai Duong, drinks and live entertainment, including the Red Panda Acrobat, White Crane and Lok Yuen Lion Dancers, Chinese calligraphers, origami demonstration, tea tasting by Red Blossom Tea Company, wine tasting with Classic Wines, raffle drawing and silent auction.  All proceeds will benefit Wu Yee’s programs and services.

Wu Yee Children’s Services is the first Chinese-founded and -managed child care and family services organization in San Francisco.  The agency’s mission is to promote the healthy development of children and families by providing high-quality, culturally and linguistically appropriate children and family support services.
