Hukilau just announced details of their 7th Annual Poke Festival and Spam Musubi Eating Contest, taking place Sat Sept 6 from Noon to 8 p.m. The best Hawaiian block party east of Hilo, Hukilau closes off the street and delivers a day of live island style music, Hukilau food and drink specials and tons of giveaways. The winner of the Poke Recipe contest will be flown to Hawai’i to compete in the “worldwide” poke contest in Hilo on the Big Island.
