Nonprofit Asian American magazine Hyphen will hold website re-launch party on Friday, March 28 at Roe Restaurant, 651 Howard St. in San Franciso SOMA, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  They’re asking for a suggested donation of $50.

The re-launch party, which they’re titling UNVEILED will feature an evening of networking with Hyphen staff, friends, media representatives and the publication’s sponsors. Sponsored by Toyota Matrix and Banyan Wine, light refreshments will be served and DJs will spin — culminating in “the long-awaited unveiling of the magazine’s redesigned website.”

“[Our current site] has been a really good site for four years, but Hyphen has come a long way, and our website should reflect that,” says Christine Vilar, Hyphen’s music editor who also played a double role in developing the new site.

“Web presence is just as important as the look and style of the print magazine. They should be on par with each other. Finally with the redesign, they will.”

With a fresh look and feel, new interactive features and outstanding content, www.hyphenmagazine.com will be the virtual epicenter for dynamic commentary on Asian Americans today.
