Special Thanks for UNDOING Movie Weekend

Thank you all for supporting Chris Chan Lee’s UNDOING this weekend.  We sold so many advance tickets that the Friday 7:35 p.m. screening was sold out, helping the film in its effort to post good numbers this weekend at Sundance Kabuki.  So a special thank you to those of you that bought tickets, either in advance or at the box office!  And I want to especially thank Angela Tseng for helping me with the ticket distribution!

UNDOING runs through Thursday, December 6, so please see it if you haven’t had a chance. The showtimes are 5:15 p.m., 7:35 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. through the rest of the run. You can also take a survey about the movie, which will enter you into a contest for a limited-edition, signed UNDOING poster by texting “mvud” to 10958.

I have to apologize for the last-minute guestlist and space requirements on the afterparty at the O Izakaya Lounge in the Hotel Kabuki.  As I mentioned in my previous emails, we received a tremendouse response to the party and the Hotel Kabuki just asked us to make sure that the venue could properly accommodate attendees.

On behalf of UNDOING’s Chris Chan Lee, Arthur Chin, Phil Lam and the producing team, special thanks to the following people: EJ Varela, Ferdinand Rebusi and the entire staff at the Hotel Kabuki; Gary Chou of manja.org and Amy Hahn of APA|FIVE for helping with the promotions, co-presenter organization outreach, signage and managing the doors; Valerie Soe from SFSU for recruiting our door volunteers; Pheobe Tooke of Larsen Associates for managing the doors; volunteers Leanne Koh, Cynthia Lee, David Lee, James Lee, Yan Zhu, Qimin Yu, Seong Hun Lee, Yuen Szto, Lindsay Tun and Tin Mai for working the doors — and finally, the following organizations for co-presenting the party:

MANJA, APA|FIVE, CAAM, Third Thursdays, Kearny Street Workshop, Asian American Theater Company, Locus Arts, Hyphen Magazine, Asian Business League, Korean American Professional Society, Korean American Coalition SF, Bay Area Korean Americans, Korean American Bar Association and NAAAP-SF.

If you took any photos from the party and can share them with us, please email (keith@hapihour.org)to me or post to Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket or Picasa and send me the link!
