LEAP (Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc.) — collaborating with hapihour.org, APA|FIVE, Asian Business League of San Francisco, The Level Playing Field Institute, Organization of Chinese Americans and the North American Taiwanese Women’s Association II — is putting on its first San Francisco Bay Area conference focusing on empowering communities through supporting the development of leadership skills within the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
The conference will take place on Saturday, November 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Downtown Campus of SFSU, 835 Market Street. It’s geared towards individuals and organizations interested in elevating and leveraging their leadership skills and serving AAAPI communities in the San Francsico Bay Area.
The conference is $10 for students, $25 for non-profit and $50 general and includes breakfast, lunch and materials.
