TEDxPeacePlaza

The first TEDxPeacePlaza was held on November 9, 2013, at Pa`ina Lounge in San Francisco’s Japantown. The event was sponsored by the San Francisco Japantown Foundation and produced by licensee Keith Kamisugi, directed by Glenn Fajardo, and executed by talented team members.

The event featured 10 TEDx talks, including ones by San Francisco Board of Supervisors President David Chiu, nationally recognized civil rights leader Lateefah Simon, entrepreneur Tulio Cardozo, immigrant rights advocate Akiko Aspillaga, and Japantown nonprofit leader Jon Osaki.

Glenn Fajardo is TEDxPeacePlaza’s current licensee and producer.
